Guiding Principles

We Believe....

The school will teach, and reinforce, traditional Christian values and a Biblical world-view.

Students and staff be held to high standards and strive to develop a strong work ethic.

The school environment will be safe, disciplined and conducive to serious learning.

The development of character and integrity in students will be an integral part of the school curriculum.

The curriculum will emphasize the development of the whole person, body, mind, and soul; balancing academics, athletics, arts, and spiritual growth.

Teachers will be allowed to use their own creative skills, diverse experiences, and unique personalities in teaching the curriculum, within the guidelines of the school's vision.

The classroom sizes will be small enough to effectively teach; and teachers will develop meaningful relationships with the students and their families.

Teachers and administrators will remain accessible to students and parents, working hard to keep the lines of communication open to our families.

Teachers and administrators will demonstrate professionalism and collaboration in their relationships with one another.

Teachers and administrators will actively pursue professional development and welcome evaluation as a means of continual improvement.

Parents, teachers, and administrators will view themselves as partners in the educational process.

A spirit of community will be cultivated among the students, parents, and staff with a willingness to volunteer and be a part of the process.

Students, parents, teachers, and administration will demonstrate respect, kindness, compassion, and forgiveness for one another.
