About the School Board

The current members of the School Board are as follows:

  • Reid HankinsPresident Reid Hankins

    Reid Hankins is the pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Novato, and additionally manages his web development consulting company, Hankins Consulting, Inc. He has served on the Board since July of 2014. Reid brings to the Board a combination of Christ-centered ministry experience and zeal, along with entrepreneurial vision and small business startup experience. Having been blessed with Christian schooling himself growing up, he is eager to see Harvest continue to grow and thrive as the north bay’s only classical and Christian school. Reid has been married to his wife Kim since January 2001, and they have two children, Will and Zoe, who are both enrolled at Harvest.

  • Kathi DolciniVice-President Kathi Dolcini

    Kathi Dolcini is a tax accountant at Burr Pilger Mayer, Inc. As a Board member with no children at the school, Kathi brings an independent, objective presence to the Board. Kathi has years of Board experience including but not limited to positions with Lincoln School Board (one room school in West Marin), Petaluma High Athletic Boosters, PGSA, and Sonoma County Alliance. She has assisted Harvest since its inception with bookkeeping and accounting services. Her love for the school inspired her to apply to become a Board member in 2012. She was raised in Petaluma since the age of 3 and has been married to her husband, Eric, since October 1987. They have three adult daughters, Erica, Andrea, and Dayna, all of whom attended public school in Petaluma. Having her children attend public school has only enhanced her passion for Harvest’s success as she believes wholeheartedly in the importance of Christ-centered education.

  • Lesha HardingTreasurer Lesha Harding

    Lesha Harding has a background in auditing and accounting, after working for Ernst & Young for 14 years she now consults for several local companies. Lesha has served on the Harvest Christian School Board since it’s inception in the fall of 2005. Lesha has a heart to serve and a great desire to see Classical Christian Education in our community be fully realized with a thriving K-12 program here at Harvest. Lesha and her husband Jim have been married and living in Petaluma since 1998. Their oldest son Gavin graduated from Harvest and Cameron and Leila are currently attending Harvest. Watching their children flourish and grow in a Christ-centered Classical education environment has continued to fuel their passion for Harvest!

  • Shelly HermansenSecretary Shelly Hermansen

    As part of the start-up team, former teacher, and administrator, Shelly Hermansen’s history with Harvest runs deep. Additionally, Shelly’s children were graduates of Harvest first and third 8th grade graduating classes. After retiring from her Vice Principal position at Harvest and taking a one-year hiatus, she couldn’t stay away any longer and is now blessed to be a part of yet another aspect of the Harvest family, joining the board in 2015. Her love for the Lord, rich history with the school and strong faith in the Classical approach to education fill her with a passion that fuels her work on the Harvest Christian School Board. Shelly currently helps her husband run Vicci Moto, a local family business. Her children Hannah and Noah currently attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and UC San Diego respectively.
